USB extension mount for 3030 extrusion (prusa mini)

This is designed for extending the USB port on the Prusa mini and place the USB port in a better position. Of course you can use this for any 3030 extrusion, not only on a prusa mini.

This mount is designed for USB extension cables shown in the last picture. Additionally you need a M3 countersunk screw ~10mm long. 

You can place the mount vertically as shown in the picture or horizontally.

Print Instructions

• use the default orientation of the model files to print
• best to print in PETg because it flexes better then PLA, but PLA might work too

Assembly

• if available use a M3 tap drill to free the threads on the t-nut
• put a M3 countersunk screw through the clamp and then screw the t-nut on it
• place it into target position and tighten the screw. (you can use the mount vertically or horizontally)
• put USB extension in place
• put clamp over it
