Print this replacement thumb-control trigger in whatever filament you want, but ASA/ABS/PETG might be a bit stronger.Â
UPDATE: Aug 27, 2024 Model uses a rounded thumb trigger for more comfort.
Print settings:
- print in same orientation as the STL
- 0.2 layer height (model is designed for 0.2 layer height)
- 3 perimeters
- supports optional, but, if used, only needed on the outside ring part.
- infill, doesn't matter. 15% is fine.
- Remove the old trigger using a T15 Torx screwdriver.Â
- Push the bar into one of the cam's notches.Â
- Align the small holes in the cam and bar (a paper clip helps)
- insert a length of 1.75m filament and push the filament as far as it will go (it should go through the bar and part-way into the other side of the notch).Â
- Use flush cutters to cut off the excess.
- Attach this completed part to the nozzle with one of the T15 screws.
- Attach the second cam to the bar in the same way as the first cam.
- Secure with the other T15 screw.
- Glue optional.
