This is my version 2.0 of a splash guard for the Kaabo Mantis King GT to prevents water and dirt from splashing up when driving. It also protects the scooter and it's front suspension.
It contains of 4 parts, one right and left bracket and a middle part. The fourth part can be made to your liking, with and height, and connects with two screws to the middle part.
For the fourth part I used a flexible chopping board from IKEA because it's thin, sturdy and flexible just to the right level what I prefer. And it's inexpensive!

You can of course design your own part and print it in TPU if you do not have an IKEA close to you :-)
How to print
- Right and left bracket
- PETG
- 0.2mm, 4 perimeters, 15% infill
- Painted support
- Mid bracket
- TPU
- 0.2mm, 4 perimeters, 100% infill
- Painted support, multi-material (PLA)
- Added a cylinder, height 0.2mm, at the end to secure it stays in place (might not be needed)
How to assemble
- Remove the front screws from the fender on each side. Prepare a replacement screws which are 4 mm longer.
- Prepare the fourth part, I made mine about 9cm high and 11cm wide. Place it in the center of the mid-bracket and mark the holes.
- Assemble the fourth part to mid-bracket with stainless steel screws.
- File off the edges on right and left bracket to make it easier to push them into the mid-part. Its designed to be a tight fit and worked perfectly for me but that may vary from printer to printer.
- Take one side bracket and assemble it about half way into the mid-bracket. Attach it to scooter and when in place take the other side bracket and push it in. The construction makes it stay in place without screws.
- Assemble the new 4 mm longer screws to secure it in place with the front fender.
