Description
This model is quick to print and snaps on the back rail, and lifts the frame just enough to have both of the wheels free from the surface (eg. table), so that it doesn't run away, when you accidentally turn on power or similar during firmware development or servicing.
The stand prints nicely without any support and can be customised with an embossed logo for a team or similar. Customization is done using OpenSCAD.
When not used as a stand to lift up the frame, it can be mounted upside down, so that it's ready for next time or as a name/team tag.
Instead of using an embossed logo, placing a sticker on the stand is also possible, eg. those from a label maker with the operator or robot name.
This model should be printed on it's side, so that all layers are almost identical, as this produces a part that is strong and a little flexible in the correct orientation to snap on to the robot frame and off again without breaking.
