Description
I could not get accurate first layers with the omron probe in my ender switchwire converson so I took a shot with Beacon and its been working out.
Beacon wiki says there could be differences in mounts for RevD vs RevH so I modeled my own, but tbh it came out looking very similar to others.
Specifically for the Low Profile RevH
Modeled referencing the STEP files for both Beacon RevH and StealthBurner with Revo, taking into account the recomended spacing above and below the Beacon. Not sure if clearence will differ with other hotends.
I depinned the beacon cable connector to get the cable through the stealthburner mount as on the switchwire I found this to be my best option for managing the cable without interfering with the x carriage movement.
Uses 2 standard voron spec heat inserts. Insert from top. Mount beacon then Push the mount up as high as the small bumps on the arms will allow it (the small shoulder bumps keep the bed within the recomended vertical range), then tighten to x carriage with 2 m3x16 screws.
