Description
When you water your potted plants, does the water flow over the edges or run straight to the bottom and out the hole? Use this to slowly feed water into your pot to give the soil time to absorb the water.
Use variable layer height at a high quality setting (15) so the drip hole is accurate. Make sure Top Minimum shell thickness is 2mm to ensure the reservoir is water-tight. Obviously, you'll need supports.
I've included the Fusion 360 .3mf file so you can taylor it to your pots (hit ‘P’ to edit parameters). Note that the last two steps are just to calculate the reservoir volume - check the properties of body10. Roll the History Marker to before them to save the correct stl.
The STLs included are for a pot 360mm in diameter with a 22mm thick rim and has a 1mm hole. If you don't use Fusion 360 and would like another size uploaded, just message me.
If you would prefer to print less plastic and use a water/pop bottle instead, check out: www.printables.com/model/932668-drip-pot-waterer-parametric
