Rail-Adapter for Milwaukee M18 FMCS metal circular saw / Schienen-Adapter für Milwaukee M18 FMCS Metallkreissäge

I love the little Milwaukee FMCS cordless circular saw, not only for metal, but also for wood! But unfortunately there is a problem: Milwaukee does not offer a way to use the saw guided on the rail for whatever reason.

To finally solve this problem, I designed and tested a suitable adapter. Even the Milwaukee sales people are enthusiastic and recommend it ;)

The adapter fits perfectly for the metal shoe of the M18 FCMS and is equipped with magnets so that the adapter stays on the saw even when it is set down. I have set two variants here, depending on whether it is easier for you to get 6x2 or 8x2 magnets.
I use: 6x2 neodymium magnets or 8x2 neodymium magnets for little money from Amazon!

Print settings and notes:
- min. 6 base and top layers
- min. 4 contours
- min. 15% infill

No supports are necessary, the gap of the guide should be bridged by the printer without any problems. In any case, it gives me a smoother surface appearance for the sliding surface than with supports.

Ich liebe die kleine Milwaukee Akku-Handkreissäge FMCS, nicht nur für Metall, auch für Holz! Aber leider gibt es kein Problem: Milwaukee bietet warum auch immer keine Möglichkeit an, die Säge geführt auf der Schiene einzusetzen.

Um dieses Problem endlich zu lösen habe ich einen entsprechenden Adapter entworfen und getestet. Sogar die Milwaukee Vertriebler sind begeistert und empfehlen das Teil weiter ;)

Der Adapter passt perfekt für den Metall-Schuh der M18 FCMS und ist mit Magneten bestückt, damit der Adapter auch beim Absetzen auf der Säge bleibt. Hier habe ich zwei Varianten eingestellt, je nachdem ob ihr leichter an 6x2 oder 8x2 Magnete kommt.
Ich verwende: 6x2 Neodym Magnete bzw. 8x2 Neodym Magnete für schmales Geld von Amazon!

Druckeinstellungen und Hinweise:
- min. 6 Boden- und Deckschichten
- min. 4 Konturen
- min. 15% Infill

Es sind keine Stützen notwendig, der Spalt der Führung sollte ohne Probleme vom Drucker überbrückt werden können. Gibt bei mir auf jeden Fall ein glatteres Oberflächenbild für die Gleitfläche als mit Stützen.
