The BambuLab AMS (Automatic Material System) is designed to keep filament dry during 3D printing. However, humidity can still be an issue due to the following factors:

Moisture Absorption by Filament:

• Filament that absorbs moisture can lead to print quality issues, poor layer adhesion, and even nozzle clogging, resulting in failed prints.
• The AMS has an air-tight seal, and with the help of desiccant material, it absorbs moisture to keep it away from the filament.

Tiny Silica Gel Bags Inside the AMS:

• The AMS comes with small silica gel bags (desiccant) to absorb moisture.
• However, these tiny bags may not be sufficient to maintain low humidity levels, especially if the filament spools are wet or the environment is particularly humid.

Solution: EasyDry Spools:

• The “EasyDry” Spools are designed to address this issue effectively.
• These spools allow you to add up to 1 kg of silica gel, significantly increasing the desiccant capacity.

The spools are very easy to print, i made 4 different version. If you use some filament regulary print the spool from this filament so the spool them self acts as filament swatch.

I use the orange one that went dark green if saturated with water and can be unlimited regenerated in 2 - 4 hours with only 110°C this can be done with any convection oven.
