Hero Camper water tank Gardena adapter

Adapter to be able to fill the Hero Camper's water tank with a Gardena compatible water hose.

Use a more heat resistant material PETG/PCTG/ABS/… I used 6 wall perimeters with a 25% honeycomb infill for added strength. However, this might be more than necessary.

Assemble

Screw the bottom and top part together. Use superglue to hold them permanently in place. Screwing the bottom part half way in and putting glue on the rest of the thread before fully screwing it in should do the trick. The gap for the breather hole should align automatically.

Last piece is the Garden compatible nozzle itself. You can print one yourself or buy them quite cheaply. You need the ½" type (Gardena style fitting with ½" external thread - I bought these from Amazon).

Use

Fit the cams of the bayonet connection and turn the adapter by 45° until the air hole is at the top. Reverse to take it out again.
