This is a modular shower screen holder for xBloom Studio. Credit to EAF member Abel (@Abelburnem) for the modular holder idea and @Yeasmate for the no-magnet collar concept.
Currently includes modules for Melodrip and Aeropress screens. I plan to add a Pulsar dispersion screen module soon.
I also plan to add a swivel module to move the screen in / out of the water path mid-brew. (watch this space).
Holds onto the xBloom Studio grinder using magnets, similar to the grind cup. You need 4x magnets with dimensions 6mm diameter x 3mm height, they should just press-fit into the print. Make sure to orient them the right way so they clip onto the grinder.
Here are the ones I used, but any you can source locally should be fine: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005310398238.html
Note on clearance:
- If using the magnet version, I don't think there's enough clearance under the xBloom to use this if you have done the “level fix” mod on the omnidripper. The slope provides additional clearance.
- If you are using the level fix, consider using the optional no-magnet version of the collar or the lid version I have also included as additional files.
- If using the no-magnet version, I recommend using double sided tape around the inside of the frame and using a zip tie to secure the back corner (see example images).
Updates:
- 19 July 24: Added a magnet-free version of the collar, this has additional clearance for use with more level drippers.
- 15 July 24: added the Aeropress shower screen module
- 14 July 24: added reinforced fins to the Melodrip holder module

Printing tips:
- There are some chamfers so its best to use low layer height 0.16mm or lower.
- Recommend PETG for this, apparently PLA melts after some use!
- Extra walls and higher infill recommended (but not needed) to give a more solid feel to the shaft / handle.
- You may also want to print with ironing on top layer for a nicer finish.
- No supports needed, just print flat on the bottom.
