Description

First of all, dry your TPU filament… Otherwise the surface finish will be like my photos.
Anywho:

I made this protective case for the EX30's Key Tag, since I don't want to scratch the hell out of it when I toss in into my pocket.

It is made up out of two parts, but the “lid” with the strap is optional. The lid is only necessary to cover the key tag completely, and to make it easier to get the key tag out of the case again.
If you already have a strap/keychain attached to the key tag it can still be used through the hole in the case.

Print one of each part out of TPU or similar rubber filament.
Dry your filament, print slowly, 0.2mm layer height and make sure you have a good first layer calibration.
The main strap is only 0.4mm thick, and the smaller straps sticking out is only 0.2mm thick.

When everything is printed they go together like this:

(the lid with straps is a bit bent here since I've tried it out for a while. It prints flat.)

Insert the main strap from the matte side of the key tag. The bottom of the lid is facing to the right in this picture.

Stick the strap through the slot in the lid.

Pull the strap tight-ish and align the lid.

Insert the key tag into the main case.

Insert the thin straps into the main case before you push it all the way in (they are just there to prevent the sides of the lid from lifting up all the time).
They can be a bit fiddly to push in, and they might roll up a bit when you push the key tag in. Just go slow and push them in as needed, when inserting the key tag the rest of the way.

You can leave the strap hanging out if you don't mind it flopping around. Otherwise it can be bent down and inserted through the hole to tuck it away.
