Description
Simple and functional two part housing for OV3660 type cameras.
The housing front / main body comes in two variants.
One with the arm mount on the side, one with the mount at the bottom.
If you need the mount on the other side you can just flip the front since it's symmetrical.
Assembly:
The back is held in with four M2x10 countersunk flat head screws (ISO 10642 / DIN 7991).
This also clamps down the camera PCB and holds it in place inside the case.
Important:
To use this housing you have to remove the connector and solder the wires of the USB cable directly to the PCB.
The connectors on these cams are extremely unrealiable anyways and a soldered connection will be much more stable.
Mounting:
For the mount you need an arm with a 9mm wide and 4mm thick flange with an M3 hole.
I didn't include one in this design because the design of the arm will mostly depend on how the camera is used / which printer you are going to mount this on.
Compatibility:
This housing only works with the rectangular style PCBs that have half cut screwholes.
The square variant with full screw holes will NOT fit into this design!
See pictures for a reference of what the PCB should look like.
