GEPRC Mark5/4 28mm GPS mount (BE280)

28mm GPS mount for the GEPRC Mark5 and Mark4 FPV drone frame. The VTX antenna mount is for TBS-style antennas, and the receiver antenna mount is for standard T-antennas. 
 

My reason for using a 28mm GPS instead of the usual 18–25mm one is as follows:
Generally, larger GPS modules are able to get a 3D ‘fix’ quicker and can lock onto more satellites, giving a more accurate and stable position reading. Though the quicker fix is more important for FPV drones.
This convenience easily offsets the small weight penalty for me.

Compatibility:

Most 28mm-square modules will fit. A few examples:

• Beitian BN/BK/BE280 &
  Beitian BN/BK/BE880 &
  Beitian BN/BK/BE880Q
  • BN = M8, BK = M9, BE = M10 (recommended)
• GEPRC GEP-M1025 Series
  • the 25 is the size of the patch antenna, the module itself is 28mm
• Quescan M10FD & G10A-F30
• V.KEL VK2828U7G5LF & VK2828U8G5LF 

I use the BE280. It gets over 8 sats within 30-60s and usually 20-35 sats after a couple minutes.

Printing:

• When importing the 3mf, choose “3D models only”
• Material: TPU
  I like 95A, or even harder.
• 3 Perimeters
• 25-40% infill
