Description

I made this blocker for the driver sensor since it keeps annoying me and not functioning properly.
The goal was also to make it easily attachable and removable.

It requires the steeringwheel to be pulled out a bit since the sensor will otherwise complain about being covered. So it won't work if you have the steeringwheel pushed in all the way.
Before printing anything you can try and take a piece of paper and hold it behind the steeringwheel to see if it triggers the warning.

-The parts should be printed out of something heat resistant such as PETG, otherwise the part might deform during the summer heat.
-Depending on how good bed adhesion you have you might want to use a brim.
-Supports might also be needed inside the holes where the clasps clip in.

Print a Top and Bottom part, plus 2x clasps.

When all the parts are printed you can add some strips of electrical tape on the inside of the Top/Bottom parts (to avoid plastic on plastic contact). This is optional though.

Then just add the main parts to the steeringwheel shroud.
The Top goes on the front edge of the shroud, and the bottom part hooks into the indention for the adjustment lever.

Like this:

You then take the clasps, hook them into the bottom hole with the square-ish hook.
And then snap the clasp to the top part.
Like this:

The blocker can then be easily removed by pulling the top of the clasps outwards.

Naturally, you take full responsibility for any issues or problems (legal or otherwise) that may arise when using this modification.
