Ground screw anchor 

with replaceable insert

The ground screw is the basis for my garden socket holder (in progress)
.. but can also be used for many other things

Installation in the ground

The ground screw is designed for medium-heavy soils. If necessary, a model is available to reinforce the screw (booster.stl)

Please use a 1/2 inch socket extension to screw it into the ground.

Inserts:

thread, for screwing in and twist-proof during normal use.

If it remains in the ground permanently, to securely close the screw.

prevent twisting
 

Assembly: Put on the twist lock and press in with a screwdriver.
Disassembly: Carefully pull off with pliers.

Print settings

Print alignment as specified in the print file, no further alignment necessary.

Use reinforcement core (Cura)

• Disable merge overlapping volumes
• Load both models (ground_anchor.stl + booster.stl)
  Merge models
• Slicing

Support structure required, only the lower 11.5mm,

• Angle for support structure: 51°
• Material: PETG
• Wall lines: 5+
• Filling: >50%,
  with reinforcement core also less

Rest:

no support structure is required.

• Wall lines: 3+
• Filling: >15%, depending on load
