Description

When spray painting, it is always the case that if the piece is directly placed on the ground or table it can be poorly painted due to uneven coats, especially at the edges. With this design, you can raise the piece to reach all the edges at once.

This triangular base can be placed in two orientations. This offers the user more placement possibilities.

These are the dimensions of the model when placed directly upright:

This orientation is not very stable, hence the holes. These holes allow the part to be fastened with screws to a base. In this way, the supports will not move, raising the part a total of 50mm in a very stable way.

The other option is to place it lying down. These are the dimensions in that case:

This orientation, unlike the previous one, is stable by itself. It is the most convenient when positioning the part for painting as it is more flexible than screwing it in each time. However, it only raises the part a total of 28.4 mm.

Print settings

Printed in PLA, without rafts or supports, at 0.2 mm resolution and 100% infill.

The most convenient orientation for printing is as follows:

The part turns out pretty strong, but if you want to ensure more strength to the piece, you can change the "Wall Line Count" to around 4.

Also, I would recomend printing it in PETG or ABS since there are more durable materials than PLA.

Assembly

As the description says, if you want to use the taller configuration you have to screw it to a wooden base or something.

If you want to use the lower one, just lay it on its side.
