Description

Small container with screw-on lid for storing paper clips.

If you like, you can place a magnet in the lid during the printing process. This has the advantage that the paper clips do not fall out after unscrewing and are immediately ready to use.
The slot for the magnet measures approximately 11 x 6mm.

Print pause at layer #54 (10.80mm) to insert magnet.

During printing, you may insert a magnet into the designated slot during a print pause.
The magnet must be secured with super glue before you resume printing. Otherwise, the magnet will be pulled out of the slot by the metallic nozzle when the print head moves over it again.
Take sufficient time during the print pause. Your printer is patiently waiting.
I used the following procedure:

  • At the beginning of the print pause, first apply a drop of super glue into the slot.
  • Then insert the magnet into the slot.
  • Wait at least one minute for the glue to set. The duration naturally depends on the super glue being used.
  • Only then resume printing.

I am looking forward to your Makes! :-)
