Eggmobile for Bambulab LED Lamp Kit

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PRINTING.

This lamp depicts my design for the Eggmobile, hoisting the Master Emerald away from a crystal base.

No pilot is in the driver's seat; you can put your own figure in the chair if it is small enough.

The materials used are found below.

Silver - Bambulab PLA Matte Grey
Black - Bambulab PLA Matte
Yellow - Bambulab PLA Matte
Green - Prusament PLA Green Opal
Blue - Prusament PLA Royal Blue Blend
Cyan/Teal - Bambulab PET-G Translucent Teal

The “Base” of the lamp is identical to the one provided by BambuLab in the original LED Lamp Kit: https://makerworld.com/en/models/13717#profileId-13429

The BambuLab LED Lamp Kit, or something of a similar size, is required to use this item as a lamp. Because of this, it prints pretty small (approximately 9-10cm tall).

SUPPORTS ARE REQUIRED.

I have pre-painted the support zones and configured the settings appropriately for printing on an X1C. There are a lot of supports to remove, so I recommend PVA or other easy-to-remove supports.

As this model uses PLA, the lamp's light won't shine through much. 
I only had 1 spool of PETG translucent, which works well for the Master Emerald. If you want to use PETG material type, reconfigure the profile material settings first in Bambu Studio, and change the plate type to match the materials requirements.

If your printer is NOT an X1C, you may have to make adjustments, as I cannot guarantee it will print the same on your machine. (I don't own every single model of printer!)

If you are making adjustments and lose the support data, just follow these simple instructions: 
1. The “Tree” style is recommended, with “Hybrid” setting enabled. 
2. Auto-generated supports are no good as they don't target the wings or back jet of the Eggmobile; manually paint overhangs, usually 30-degree angle setting is OK but it's safer to go with 40-degree. 
3. Turn OFF “touching build plate only”.

TRANSLUCENT MATERIAL FOR THE TEAL PARTS ARE RECOMMENDED.

If you don't use translucent materials, you won't get as much light coming through the lamp. It's that simple. 
I have made the infill density 10% to help more light shine through the model, but obviously, opaque materials will block any light regardless of that fact. If you insist on using opaque materials for the lamp, you should go with a lighter colour instead of a darker one to reduce light absorption.
