Description
I really like large air pumps like the 10 PSI Quechua from Decathlon because they move huge air volumes in little time. But they are mainly made for tents, boats, kites or mattresses. You can't inflate toys, swimming aids or children's pools with them because the connector doesn't fit the smaller valves properly and leaks air. So I made this adapter which fits those smaller valves and sits very tightly. It matches the known bayonet connector and features also the little loop on the side so you can add it to the string together with the original connectors.
I made a 6mm and 8mm version which should fit most applications. On these photos you see the 8mm version.
Printed in Prusament PETG Jet Black 0,2mm quality preset for outdoor use and UV resistance. Supports are required as shown. It's also important to have a well calibrated extrusion multiplier because the gap from won't-fit to not-airtight between hose and connector is quite narrow.
I highly recommend to sand the upper part of the tip smooth to improve its connection to the valves:
