Flange Type A/C Compressor Blanking Plugs

Keeping dirt, debris and moisture out of your A/C compressor (and A/C system in general) is very important. If you don't have any suitable plugs at hand, you can 3D print your own and save some time and money (and potentially your A/C system).

The fitment has been verified on a Mitsubishi Outlander A/C Compressor, but it should work on most cars with this style plug.

Versions

15.5mm: The hole of the plug has a nominal diameter of 15.5mm

18.5mm: The hole of the plug has a nominal diameter of 18.5mm

Print Settings

• SEBS TPE is probably a better material choice for the plugs than TPU, because it won't be affected (as much) by the compressor oil.
• Three outer perimeters should be plenty to make the plug tight
• Depending on how well your printer is tuned, you might have to scale the model to guarantee a proper fit. It is designed with 0.3mm oversize.
