Description
This insert is designed for the ISS Vanguard board game. Although the original game includes a decent insert, I wasn't entirely satisfied with it. First, it doesn't accommodate sleeved cards. Second, the spacing is too tight, making it inconvenient to remove cards from their slots. Additionally, I prefer functional inserts that can be placed directly on the table and used during gameplay.
If you print this design, please give it a like—it took a lot of time to create!
The Section Box needs to be printed four times—once for each section. It holds the section cards, sleeves, and the dice acquired by each section. The figures can be placed on top of the lid.
The discovery, event, and injury cards are stored horizontally in their respective trays. These trays can be placed directly on the table during a game session. Refer to the photo to see how to stack these trays on top of and beside each other.
There is one large box for mission and global condition cards. The small box holds unique discoveries and rank-up cards. The third box is for tarot-sized danger and reference cards.
The large ship management box stores the crew, recruits, and facility upgrade cards. Gathered discoveries, bridge and lander mods go in the small box. The equipment cards are stored in the remaining square box.
The figure tray, which holds the ISS Vanguard miniature and PET minis, is placed beneath the section boxes, along with the tray for tutorial cards and the planet scanner. Dice that haven't been purchased yet are stored in the dice box. The standee tray, which holds the standees and transparent bases, is placed on top of the dice tray. The token tray, which holds all cardboard markers and universal markers, is placed on top of the horizontal card trays. Finally, there is a box for any material removed from the game.
All card boxes have slots for separators. Print as many separators as needed.
