Pimax Crystal "Audio Booster" (SMAS) Update 11.11.24

Da mir der Sound von den SMAS Lautsprechern viel zu leise war habe ich mir diese Trichter konstruiert und gedruckt um mehr Lautstärke zu bekommen. 

• Mit dem Audio Booster ist es ca. doppelt so laut
• Mit Ohrpolster ist das mindestens 3x so laut und zudem bekommt man einen sehr Kraftvollen Bass und eine Soundcharakteristik wie mit einem Beydynamic 770Pro. Wer das nicht selber testet wird einfach nicht glauben wie genial sich das anhört wenn die Ohrpolster richtig anliegen

Die Teile Rasten exakt in die SMAS Lautsprecher ein und sitzen so sehr gut und können einfach entfernt werden. Man sollte einen Drucker nutzen der sehr genau druckt da die Tolleranzen sehr gering sind mit 0,2mm

Ich nutze Ohrpolster für den Superlux HD681Evo Kopfhörer  Ø 109mm

Gedruckt habe ich das mit dem Bambu lap X1C

• 0,2mm Layerhöhe
• 0,4mm Düse
• Stützstrucktur NICHT nötig

Das Teil habe ich in PETG gedruckt aber sollte auch mit PLA oder was auch immer gut funktionieren.

Für Besseren Klang habe ich einen Einsatz dazu gepackt der wirklich einiges an Hall entfernt und dadurch Sauberer Klingt.

Den Einsatz Druckt man so:

• Material TPU !!!
• 0,2mm Layerhöhe
• 0,4mm Düse
• Keine Stützstrucktur
• Keine Wände , Boden sowie Decke einfach nur das Innenleben drucken
• 20% Füllung “Gyroid”

Ich habe natürlich versucht den Sound noch weiter zu optimieren und kann euch dringend den Equalizer APO ans herz legen weil damit kann man nochmal deutlich mehr herausholen.

• Wichtig!! Im Windows den Sound vorher auf 24Bit 48Khz stellen!

Since the sound from the SMAS speakers was much too quiet for me, I designed and printed these funnels to get more volume.

• With the Audio Booster it is about twice as loud
• With ear pads it is at least 3x as loud and you also get very powerful bass and a sound characteristic like a Beydynamic 770Pro. If you don't try it yourself, you simply won't believe how incredible it sounds when the ear pads fit perfectly

The parts snap into the SMAS speakers exactly and sit very well and can be easily removed. You should use a printer that prints very precisely because the tolerances are very small at 0.2mm.

I printed this with the Bambu lap X1C

• Support structure NOT required!

I printed the part in PETG but it should also work well with PLA or whatever. 

For better sound, I have added an insert that really removes a lot of reverb and therefore sounds cleaner.

The insert is printed like this:

• Material TPU!!!
• 0.2mm layer height
• 0.4mm nozzle
• No support structure
• No walls, top or bottom layers, just print the inside
• 20% filling “Gyroid”

Of course, I tried to optimize the sound even further and can highly recommend the Equalizer APO because you can get a lot more out of it.
