-----UPDATE V2 Model sizing is correct now and it works!!-----------
The first print I made had 5% infill, normal walls, 0,3 layer height. This was of course not enough, while removing the dock from the print bed I already broke a few pieces off...
Despite that particular print being a failure, I can now check the dimensions with the phone, to ensure the size is correct, before I attempt another print, with much better settings...
-----again, use V2 this is the updated version all the sizing is correct-----
This dock is meant for the Sony Z5 Compact with the original Case and cover, the original micro usb cable slides into the dock and has a tight fit. I've designed the dock in such a way, that the phone automatically centers itself over the micro usb charger cable and plugs in.
NO LONGER WORK IN PROGRESS, IT WORKS VERY NICELY
Also, this uses quite a bit of material 24m @ 5% infill (which is not enough, it breaks), but my friend really wanted a closed back compartment, so he could put stuff in there, like ear phones and/or pens.
If someone likes this dock, I can redesign the back side, to use less material.. maybe just leave it out completely.
The bottom has 2 holes @ 6mm to allow a weight to be attached.

Resolution:

30%
Notes:
Printed in PLA 0.3 layer height, with 5% infill. The thing was destroyed while removing it from the print bed.
Would recommend printing at least 30% infill, Layer height 0.2, slower settings give a nicer finish.License:
