Ground Level Camera Mount (Low boi v1)

A tool I created out of frustrations with low angle shooting, something I do a lot of. Existing solutions are expensive but more than anything, just not that low.  The combination of a stand + a tripod head significantly changes the shops that can be captured.

Two legs at the front and a tilting foot at the back provide ample stability for video work close to the ground. The base is 2cm thick at its minimum, and is made with common hardware. Here I use two 8mm bolts, the files have been updated to use 10mm bolts (or rod).

With the rear foot out, the device can be used to mount the camera flat against very steep surfaces, allowing the camera to be almost flush with the surface. The rear foot is primarily used for fine angle adjustment on any surface. 

The front and rear of the device are rounded, allowing it to be tilted on a flat surface. I find this especially helpful when shooting on a table or similar surface, giving me control while not losing the details im trying to capture. 

Rough print settings:

3 walls, 25% cubic infill, if you have a m4 drill bit can use no supports on front m4 holes.

2x 8mm ID rubber o ring

6x m4 nuts

6x 50mm m4 bolts

2x m8 nuts

1x 70mm length m8 threaded rod, or 1x 70mm m8 bolt

2x 100mm m10 bolts OR m10 rod (rod is the better option but bolts are easier to find).
