Description
This 3D model is an AZDelivery OLED mount that uses clips to lock the circuit board in place. You can use it as a stand when working on your projects or you can embed it in any enclosure that you design.
You need to print the following parts:
Printing instructions:
In the example photos I used PLA and no support or brim. Print the base as is and print the caps upside down. Use a well calibrated printer, the parts have very little free play to prevent the circuit board from being able to move while being assembled.
Assembly instructions:
Install the circuitboard by aligning it over the pins and make sure that the orientation is correct. The LCD screen is not exactly in the center, because of this you may need to rotate it 180 degrees to get it framed correctly. Place the cap on top of the pin and gently apply force in the downward and clip direction. Be gentle, as brute force could make the clips break off. It sometimes helps to place the cap a little bit at an angle. Eventually it should click in place. When being careful, it is also possible to disassemble the clips by pushing a screw driver onder the caps and gently pulling the clips outward. Because the pin inside is very thin it may break, but even when the pin is broken off the clip will still lock it in place and I had no issues using it with one broken pin.
