LIGHTNING DETECTOR WHIT ESP8266 AND AS3935

We are excited to present our project for electronics enthusiasts and DIY hobbyists: the Lightning Detector based on ESP8266 and AS3935. This device is ideal for those who love experimenting with technology and want to monitor lightning activity in real time.

Key Features:

  • AS3935 Lightning Sensor: Detects lightning with precision, providing information about its distance.
  • Visual and Audible Alerts: Integrated LED and buzzer for immediate notifications.
  • Intuitive User Interface: OLED display for clear visualization of information and status messages.
  • Customizable Settings: Adjust the noise floor threshold, watchdog threshold, spike rejection, and minimum lightning count to suit your needs.

How It Works:
Our Lightning Detector uses the AS3935 sensor to monitor the atmosphere for electrical discharges. When lightning is detected, the sensor sends a signal to the ESP8266, which processes the data and triggers visual and audible alerts. Detailed information, such as the distance of the lightning, is displayed on the OLED screen.

Applications:
- Hobby Projects: Perfect for makers and electronics enthusiasts who want to explore the world of lightning detection.
- Educational Projects: An ideal tool for school and university experiments, offering a practical learning opportunity.

Easy to Set Up:
Our Lightning Detector is designed to be easy to configure and use. Simply connect it to a power source, set your desired preferences through the intuitive interface, and start monitoring lightning activity. The Wi-Fi connectivity of the ESP8266 also allows you to integrate the device into home networks for more advanced monitoring.

An Engaging Project for Makers:
If you are a maker looking for an engaging and educational project, our Lightning Detector is the perfect choice. Experiment with technology, learn more about lightning and atmospheric monitoring, and enjoy building your own device.
