Bambu Lab A1 (Mini) Detachable Purge / Poop Bucket

This is - to the best of my knowledge - the first detachable (floating) purge / poop bucket / collector. It allows for easy and quick emptying of the bucket. The mount fits both, the Bambu A1 and Bambu A1 Mini. It is robust and accessible so that detaching and re-attaching the bucket can be done with one hand in a matter of seconds. The bucket is large enough s.t. it also collects strings / purged material leaving at both ends while not wasting any space on your desk.

Types of Baskets

Models for Bambu A1

1. Basket with solid walls (30 g, ~70 min)
2. Basket with round holes in wall (25 g, ~90 min)
3. Basket with walls consisting of hexagons (19 g, ~120 min)

Models for Bambu A1 Mini

1. Basket with solid walls (27 g, ~60 min)
2. Basket with round holes in wall (22 g, ~90 min)
3. Basket with walls consisting of hexagons (17 g, ~105 min)

I recommend the second version as it allows for an easy assessability of the bucket's abundance, is robust, and does not waste any unnecessary material. Nevertheless, all options are viable.

Printing

Furthermore, I recommend to print this bucket in PETG as it is slightly more temperature-resistant than PLA and the poop does not stick to it as easily as PLA.

Warning! Please make sure to optimize your settings for printing variant 3. The hexagon variant is optimized for minimal filament use and might require a slow-down of the printing speed, increasing the fan-speed as well as other printer-specific options.
