This build is multifunctional but here is my use. I needed an analog slider that would export data to a CSV file. Since this is just a housing you can program anything you need that would require an analog slider and Arduino. I added a 2lb weight and a silicone pad to make it stable while in use, these are both optional.
Solder connections between slider and Arduino with about 3 inches of wire. (Slider mount has wire channel grooves and can be inserted through the side so you don't need to feed wire through before soldering)
Install Arduino nano with 4 M1.5 screws
Attach slider to slider mount with 4 M3 screws
Attach Slider mount to base with 2 M3 screws
Add weight and epoxy into place (optional)
Install lid, should fit fine with a friction fit but for a permanent bond some super glue or 3D Gloop can be sued
Cut and adhere silicone pad to the bottom of the base for grip (optional)
