Description
A reclining Buddha is an image that represents Buddha lying down and is a major iconographic theme in Buddhist art. It represents the historical Buddha during his last illness, about to enter the parinirvana. He is lying on his right side, his head resting on a cushion or relying on his right elbow, supporting his head with his hand. (from Wikipedia).
This particular depiction was inspired by the Reclining Buddha in Wat Pho, Bangkok, Thailand. In 2015, Dany Sánchez attempted this human figure sculpt using parametric software, and has now been updated in Tinkercad with more detail and optimization for no supports. It is not as perfect as an actual sculpt made in blender or Zbrush, but an homage to the original attempt and proof of what's possible with parametric software.
