Concrete Mandalorian Mold

I used PLA, but TPU may be easier to demold. I used a  bag fast-setting Quickrete concrete mix, but I did sift it a little to get the larger aggregate pieces out for a cleaner mold…A self made concrete mix may yield better results. YMMV. 

I was able to pull about 5 molds out of the prints with only some issues…eventually another mold would be needed if you wanted to make more or batch some out. 
 

note: I tried cutting the molds in half after printing (pictured)…i thought it would ease de-molding but it was not necessary…patience is key allow the concrete to cure and coat the mold with cooking oil and it will come out nicely.
