Description
MoveShootMove makes a Phone Mount for polar aligning star trackers, using a phone app like Photopills or Stellarium, when you cannot see Polaris. Great during the day or when in the southern hemisphere. They sell an adapter I designed to attach the phone mount to their Nomad star tracker. This model is a more generic adapter that slides over an existing polar scope to use it to hold the phone mount to your tracker. This should work with Star Adventurer trackers including the GTi. If you find a polar scope that is too big for this adapter to fit over let me know the diameter and I'll see if I can adapt it too.
Printed in regular PLA without any supports. I use an M4 x 12mm nylon screw (available from Amazon) to hold the adapter in place over the end of the polar scope. The phone mount is available at: MSM Phone Mount
