Simple cardboard box lock

A lock that allows you to repurpose cardboard boxes into quick access storage containers!

Print everything on a side of the greatest area.
Assemble as shown in the picture.
The “pin” must move freely on the “hinge plate".
“Cover” has to be pressed into the “hinge plate” after installing the “pin”. It would need some force or light hammering.

Depending on your printer, you might need to scale down the “cover” or use sandpaper on some parts.

I used hot glue to mount the plates onto cardboard box, but you can even use a welder if you really want.

Material doesn't matter unless you are storing lava inside the box.
