Description
12 and 22mm thick spacers for generic 140mm PC fans. I found that even with quiet fans, they get REALLY loud when there's sheet metal from the PC case near the intakes. Spacing them at least a centimeter away from any obstructions makes a huge difference in noise, reducing the humming sound that can start above 800rpm. I can now run the same fans at about 1000rpm at a similar noise level that's mostly white noise, much less humming.
To mount these you will need some extra fan mounting screws, to attach the spacers to the existing fans. Fusion 360 .f3d files are included for easy modifications.

Notes:
I chose PETG because I was afraid of the PLA holes cracking when screwed into, though PLA may work fine too. The overhangs will need supports. Print with the text right-side-up for the best surface finish on some of the other features.
