Individual Parts (EN)

The following parts are required for a dryer:

• one of the three variants of the housing
• two fan covers
• a side wall
• a lid
• two boxes (box or box_handle)

Housing

There are 3 housing variants that differ in the way the threads are inserted:

housing_thread-cutting:

The thread is cut directly into the core holes with a thread cutter. M3 and M4 thread cutters are required for this.

housing_inserts:

The holes are prepared for M3 at 4mm and for M4 at 5.6mm in order to melt thread inserts.

housing_nuts:

In this version you need a corresponding nut for each screw, which can be inserted into the hole from behind.

The housing can be printed upright with support only on the print bed.

Fan cover, side wall and lid

The fan cover and side panel can be printed without support.

The cover must be printed upright and with support.

1. The fans are inserted into the front and back of the housing (note the direction: both should be in the same direction) so that the cables can be routed into the recess in the side of the housing.
2. The fan covers are attached to the housing with the M4 screws through the holes in the fans. 
3. The side panel is attached to the housing with the M3 screws.
4. If necessary, the fan cables can be combined and connected to a power supply with a fan control.
5. The boxes can be changed from above after removing the lid. The lower box is easier to remove if it is a box with a handle.

Einzelteile (DE)

Für einen Trockner werden folgende Teile benötigt:

• eine der drei Varianten des Gehäuse (housing) 
• zwei Lüfterabdeckungen (fancover)
• eine Seitenwand (sidewand)
• ein Deckel (lid)
• zwei Boxen (box oder box_handle)

Gehäuse

Es gibt 3 Gehäusevarianten die sich in der Art wie die Gewinde eingebracht werden unterscheiden:

housing_thread-cutting:

Das Gewinde wird mit einem Gewindeschneider direkt in die Kernbohrungen geschnitten. Dafür werden M3 und M4 Gewindeschneider benötigt.

housing_inserts:

Die Bohrungen sind für M3 auf 4mm und für M4 auf 5,6mm vorbereitet um Gewindeeinsätze einzuschmelzen. 

housing_nuts:

In dieser Version benötigt man pro Schraube eine entsprechende Mutter die man von hinten in die Bohrung setzen kann.

Das Gehäuse kann hochkant mit Support nur auf dem Druckbett gedruckt werden.

Lüfterabdeckung, Seitenwand und Deckel

Die Lüfterabdeckung und die Seitenwand können ohne Support gedruckt werden.

Der Deckel muss hochkant und mit Support gedruckt werden.

Montage

Für die Montage werden

benötigt. 

1. Die Lüfter werden vorn und hinten so in das Gehäuse eingeschoben (Richtung beachten: beide sollten die selbe Richtung fördern), dass die Kabel in der Vertiefung in der Gehäuseseite geführt werden können.
2. Die Lüfterabdeckungen werden mit den M4 Schrauben durch die Bohrungen in den Lüftern am Gehäuse befestigt. 
3. Die Seitenwand wird mit den M3 Schrauben am Gehäuse befestigt.
4. Nach Bedarf können die Lüfterkabel zusammengefasst werden und mit einer Lüfterregelung an ein Netzteil angeschlossen werden.
5. Die Boxen können von oben, nach abnehmen des Deckels gewechselt werden. Die untere Box kann leichter entnommen werden wenn es eine Box mit Griff ist.
