Description
Here's a cheap 10" rack stand which can be made under 10$.
I had a lot of M8 threaded rods. I repurposed them into this thing.
It's pretty quick to make. The print time should be something between 5 and 6 hours.
You need:
- M8 threaded rods. (2x 251mm - width and 4x 230mm - depth. Depth can be anything you want. I chose 230mm.)
- M8 washers (12x)
- M8 nuts (24x)
- M6 bolts (I recommend 10mm length)
- Self-adhesive rubber feet (4x)
Tools:
- M6 Tap
- Adjustable wrench or any other spanner that fits M8 nuts.
- Locktite (optional)
All you have to do after printing is to thread the holes on all 4 “poles”. Then assemble everything that the threaded holes face your side. You can use the help of picture of my setup.
If You couldn't find screws short enough, there are 3mm and 1.5mm washers in the files too!
Here are current components visible on the picture:
- Dell wyse mount
- Cable passage
Feel free to remix this thing.
