Foldable Beach Table

Get comfortable at the seaside with this foldable, customizable summer vibes table!
Keep your drinks and food sand-free and tuck the table away easily when you leave.

Foldable

The table can be easily folded in half. When done so, the table legs tuck away easily into the side of the folded table.
Just tuck away leg I (see engraving) first, which is slightly smaller than leg II, so the table legs won't fall out during transport.

Customizable

When you choose for the table STLs which read 'SUMMER' and 'VIBES', the text can be printed in a different filament color (as first printing layer) or can simply be bridged, resulting in a cool engraving. When you choose to leave the entire table top in 1 plain color - simple, yet elegant - the same table top STL 'EMPTY' can be printed twice, and then put together.

You choose whether you make a small table with the "SMALL_"-files (suited for printing beds of size 210cm x 180 cm or larger) or a bigger table with the "BIG_"-files (suited for printing beds of size 250cm x 230cm or larger).

For a small table with flat surface, you'll need:
2x SMALL_EMPTY_TABLETOP

For a big table with flat surface, you'll need:
2x BIG_EMPTY_TABLETOP
2x BIG_LEG1
2x BIG_LEG2

IMPORTANT: Do not scale the parts, because the table top's holes are designed to work nicely as a hinge when a piece of filament is inserted in them!
 

Print settings

Recommended Material: Can be printed in ASA, PETG, PLA, …
Infill: Keep infill low, to lower chance of warping.
Layer Height: 0.2mm for a good balance between print quality and speed.
Supports: No supports should be needed, most printers will be able to bridge where needed.
When printing text in 2 colors: align the tabletop and the text easily with the helper rectangle included inside both STL files.
 

Assembly

To assemble the 2 table top halves simply take a long-enough piece of filament and insert it through the holes whilst the table is in open position. Afterwards make sure to cut of the excess filament, so when folded the table legs fit nicely inside the designed slot.
