Simple Case for Modified Big Clive Simple NiMH AA Battery Charger for AAA

I took one of my extra PCB's for BigClive's Simple AA Charger and modified it to accept AAA battery holders. I've designed a template to drill the holes needed to use the smaller holders as well as a modified version of my case for the AA charger.  If you wind up having a drill small enough to drill the holes but your drill chuck is too large for the bit you can wrap some electrical tape around the bit so that it will fit in the chuck (see pic).

Top:

Depending on how much light you want to shine thought the cover there are two tops to pick from, Pictures attached are V2 with the 1.2mm holes……..

• Version 1 - Holes above LED's = 2mm
• Version 2 - Holes above LED's = 1.2mm

Bottom:

Two hole sizes for the brass inserts depending on what type you have…….

• Version 1 - Hole for threaded inserts is 5mm
• Version 2 - Hole for threaded inserts is 4.5mm

Parts:

• 4 x M3x16mm countersunk
• 4 x M3 Brass insert

Filament:

• Polymaker PolyTerra PLA - Army Red
