Description
Update 2026: I have a new printer and I now realise that a lot of the allowances that I had for this model are excessive with newer printers and slicers. I added a outward taper to the pegs so that they hold tighter and decreased the allowances to keep everything tight. I also changed to my new makers mark which is easier to print than my old one.
I'm quite proud of this piece. I wanted a way to hold my deburring tool and its spare blades without taking up too much extra space. This print is a bit tricky and you'll need to have your offsets dialed in to make sure that the model holds the blades nicely. I created the MkII when I realised that the space directly above the static version became useless as putting anything there would interfere with grabbing the tool quickly. I added a hinge at the bottom and the top stud friction fits into a hollow-insert two spaces above the bottom insert. The module should swing forward, partially projecting the tool making even easier to grab. Should print without support but good bridging settings are recommended.
If you like this model, please post a make, I love to see what people make of my designs.
