Description
This self-centering roller keeps your cardboard spools from walking off the holder while still featuring a wide flat section to accommodate spools that have a flat interior perimeter. The interior is hollowed out to cut down on print times.
I tested this by spinning a fully loaded cardboard filament spool on it as quickly as reasonable. Even when I deliberately started it off centre or at an angle it always found its centre again quickly. The principal is similar to how train wheels have a slight angle to keep them centred on the tracks.
I hope you enjoy this design and be sure to post a make when you finish making it!

Notes:
You may want to use a brim as this is a tall this print that may get knocked over during printing. Make sure you have your offset dialed in or the quill may not fit into the open end.
A drop of super glue should be all that is needed to seat the quill into the open end.
