Cat warning sign

OK, so our cat is an outdoor cat during the summer. She looks friendly and usually behaves well, but is kind of moody and sometimes one needs to be carefull not to get scratched. She likes to sleep outside near a sidewalk where people pass quite frequently. So partly as a joke and partly as a warning, I made this warning sign.

The art made by my inhouse artist :-) , sign modeled by me. Since Prusa Slicer can easily import and extrude svg, it is now very easy to create such sign.

The original bitmap was vectorized in Inkscape, the sign shape and text added also in Inkscape. The next step is to export the backgroung and foreground as separate files from inkscape to svg and import into Prusa Slicer. Just be carefull about alignment.

In Prusa Slicer, I see two ways how to print the sign. One is the clasic layer filament change and the result will be the black art printed on top of the background shape. As a second option you can use a multicolor print with two heads. In this case the sing is printed upside down so both art and backgroud are in one layer and the top of the sign is smooth. On my Prusa Mini+ this required adding one extra extruder and put M600 gcode as extruder change command. 

The m3f files do not have the svg baked in, so you can easily customize for your need. If you want to change the text, remember you need to convert the text to Path to show in Prusa Slicer. Once you export the SVG file, hit Edit SVG in Prusa Slicer and reload the file to see the change.

I printed just the czech version of the sign, there is no reason the english one would not print as well. I increased width of extrusion to 0.6 for infill to get the print little faster. When printing the upside down version, be sure to have the print bed very clean, adhesion is the key to get all the details printed well.
