Description
Camping can be very fun, but getting lost isn't. That's why many websites say that you should definitely bring a whistle to any camping or other nature trips in case you ever do get lost. However this is easy to forget and finding a nearby store that has whistles is often impossible. So I designed a 3D Printable Emergency Whistle. This two tone whistle, designed using Fusion 360, creates two very loud tones around the 3.5 kHz range. Both tones/sound waves interfere with each other to create a ringing sound. This unique pitch combination ensures that you can be heard from very far away.
This whistle is designed with 3D printing in mind and the stl is pre-oriented so keep your default settings except for :
Z-Seam: Print as is with regular settings but position the seam AWAY from the wedge using paint on seams (PrusaSlicer and derivatives) or z-seam alignment (Cura). Position is near the mouthpiece (see picture).
Supports : Do not use! They will be impossible to remove.
