Description
I was looking for a way to load a sandwich into a plastic bag without smearing the inside of the bag with mayo peanut butter etc which inevitably ends up on the outside, which in turn gets all over everything else. I found one by "cuboodle" ("Sandwich Stuffer" https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2720148) but I thought I could refine it a bit both as a learning exercise and to make it a bit more functional.
I needed a sort of sandwich spatula that held the sandwich and loaded it into the bag while holding the bag open. Based on rough dimensions of the simple and common fold-over type sandwich bags and allowing for a 1" tall sandwich. This is my very first 3D model ever (clumsily made in OnShape) and I'm pretty proud of it, but surely there are improvements to be made so I welcome your suggestions or remixes. Let me know what you think if you print it! (I tried to fillet/round all the edges to allow for better cleaning and chose to make it in PETG for temperature resistance, I think I can put it in the dishwasher, but structurally it doesn't need much so I landed on 10% infill and only 2 top and bottom layers (0.2mm layers)
NOTE: Ver 3.0 is based on a 5.5" overall model width which can be a bit snug on some sandwich bags. Ver 3.1 is based on 5.25" model width which fits most bags (bags are 6.25"-6.5" wide generally, see pics below) more easily. I RECOMMEND VER 3.1 unless you have wider sandwich bread an/or bags!
