This replaces a standard 14x8 vent register with a mount for a cheap $35 Amazon exhaust vent fan for active ventilation in garage / print farm space. Features:
- Built for compatibility with 8in diameter, 6in depth vent fan such as this Nalle 80W 500CFM.
- Register faceplate cover split in half and puzzle pieces together, fitting on medium to large buildplates.
- 50mm fan offset / riser to allow full depth of fan duct to fit behind mesh vent screen at wall midline.
- This riser can be adjusted in slicer by splitting or combining multiple on top of each other
- Routing for power cord through faceplate and riser, usable in upward or downward orientation.
- Screw holes for fan mounting and faceplate-to-riser 4.5mm for direct threading with M5 screws or extra long 60mm bolt through all pieces.
NOTE: Riser requires at least 250x250 print bed space unless manually split further. On Bambu printers, requires disabling filament cutter to use full build space (instructions here).
