Dragon Burner SV08

- Update 01/10/2024 :

• Updated cowl
• To make printing easier and accomodate shrinkage, I've added three motor plate models : 100 %, 101% and 102% . You have to print it at 100 % in your slicer as the models have already been enlarged.

• Extruder mount alignment slightly corrected (new file : Dragon_SV08_extruder_mount_v2.STL)

Pieces to use Sovol SV08 extruder mechanics and electronics with Dragon Burner toolhead. So everything compatible with Dragon Burner Toolhead can be use on the Sovol SV08.

The cowl has a small slot to pass the heat plate and thermistor wires.

WARNING:

- This models are in test. Be free to do feedback

- The motor plate has to be printed very precisely with 100% infill

- Every pieces have really tight tolerances, so a good calibrated printer and profile is prefered. You can look at the dragon burner's printed recommendations. 

- ASA or ABS is recommended

BOM:

- To mount the SV08 extruder to the Dragon extruder (Dragon_SV08_extruder_mount.STL) :

• 2 M3 x 20
• 2 M3 x 4 heat insert

- To secure the motor plate inside the carriage mount:

• 1 M3 x 20

- For everything else, you have to use the Dragon Burner BOM
