Description
To power a ESP32 webcam (upcoming project) and an ESP32 WiFi repeater, I needed two USB ports for 5 V power supply on my printer. I bought a suitable step-down module on AliExpress to convert down the 24 V output voltage of the Mk4's power supply (LM2596 USB is a good search phrase for the module I used).
The module is held in the housing with a bit of hot glue. The housing sits on top of the power supply and gets held on with one M4 screw through the existing hole. It should clamp on a bit - if it's loose in the back, just put a strip of double-sided tape there.
Connection is made with a pair of wires down to the 24 V output of the power supply.
If this model is helpful for you, please leave a like and post a make :)
