Description
Designed for organizing my ferrules/spades/wire nuts and similar small parts. Requires two M3x30mm machine screws to assemble. The clip brackets have one hole that's larger than than the one across from it. Start there with the screw, thread through the clip and screw into the smaller hole.
Has an inner lid that keeps the parts from mixing when opening and closing the case. Remember to install the clasp with the closed loop on the same half of the case as the inner lid so that you don't accidentally open it upside down and spill the contents.
The hinges are print in place with the Shaft object set to 100% infill. I also printed the clasp and the lid in Bambu PETG HF for greater durability. The case itself I've tested in both PLA Basic and PETG HF and they both work fine with the filament presets, although the profile is set to print the case itself in PLA.
There are two holes on either side of the top section of the case that fit the pins on the lid. To install, put the pins in on one side of the case first, then bend the lid a tad to make enough room to insert the other side. It's pretty easy to put together. The lid will clip flush and secure when pushed closed and releases without too much effort on the opening hook.
