Description
A small beer crate. It was made to collect the caps from beer bottles. Two stl files are generated with a script, one stl file is without text and one has the text “Bottle Caps”.
The size of the model in the stl file is about 202 x 152 x 127 cm (length x width x height).
It can take up to half a kilogram of filament to print it.
Support is required for the hole in the handle and the two holes in the smaller sides.
The source is a OpenSCAD script.

Use at least a 2024 version of OpenSCAD and turn on the optimization. The 2021 version of OpenSCAD is too slow.
The design is not fully customizable, but a few things can be altered in the script or with the “Customizer” of OpenSCAD, such as the wall thickness and the text on the sides.
The script (and the used font) are in the zip file “Beer Crate.zip”. Be sure to unzip/unpack the zip file before using the script.
The script uses the font Mesmerize Regular. It is a font with the license CC0 (Public Domain) and it is included in the zip file.
