Diaper Pail Filter Box for "Odour Off" from Chico

I designed filter boxes in different sizes for the “Odour Off” diaper pail from Chico. These can be placed inside the bucket and filled with activated carbon.

When the bucket is not in use, it is odor proof. When you throw in a diaper or throw away the filled diaper bag, odors escape into the room. The filters filled with activated carbon can reduce the development of odors. Of course, it is not possible to completely eliminate odors.

The distance between box and lid is 0.1 mm. There is an elevation in the rear part of the lid slot. See pictures. This means that the box and lid hold together better. Since these are fine structures, the calibration of the filament used is absolutely necessary. Alternatively, I have included different lids with larger gap dimensions (0.2, 0.25 and 0.3 mm). The correct lid can be determined here using test prints. I used Sunlu PLA matte for printing.

To attach the boxes to the diaper pail, I use easily removable, double-sided adhesive strips from a well-known adhesive tape manufacturer.

I use activated carbon pellets with a diameter of 4 mm
