V3 Stargate SG-1 Magnetic cover plate set for V3 270 degree hinge

A set of quick change cover plates for my 3rd version of the K1 series 270 degree hinges. These are designed solely for use on V3 and will not fit the earlier versions.

The SG1 Badge/logo was created with multiple heights to the design so you can opt to do a 3 colour ‘layer change’ cover with this one. 4 colours if you include the actual plate itself.

The pair of two smaller front hinge plates require a total of four 5x1mm magnets (2 per plate).

The larger pair of side hinge face plates requires a total of six 5x1mm magnets (3 per plate).

I previously started down the face plate path with version 2 of my hinge. But to change the plates on V2 meant removing the hinge screws to swap a set over. Version 3 uses magnets for the plates instead. So on version 3, if you fancy a different look, you can instantly slide the current plates off and drop a different set in their place.

I create and upload plates as and when I get around to them. They are not a priority. But whenever someone shares a make, I aim to create and upload a new plate set as quickly as possible as a way of saying thank you for sharing the images. 

This set was created and uploaded within 24 hours of ‘Tyler G’ sharing a make of the V1 Hinges.

At the time of uploading the version 3 magnetic hinge itself I only have a few sets fully completed. 

Note:- K1C and some new K1 printers that come with a K1C enclosure cannot use the V3 side hinge portion (the k1c adapter is too small to do anything worthwhile and was only created so K1C case owners could fit the 270 hinges). Only the front panel covers are available to K1C case owners.
