Description
I saw similar weight rack coaster holders online; in fact, I had assumed one came with my coasters when I purchased them as what seemed like a 3D-printed one was included in the product shots. I got my sets on AliExpress for $3, so I wasn't too disappointed when they didn't come with one, although I was a tad peeved I could not find the original .STL, only Etsy and other sellers that want to charge ~$20 to ship me a printed one. Given the geometry wasn't too complicated, I spent an hour or so in OpenSCAD and whipped up my own.
Print 2 pegs and the coaster holder body. The pegs attach with any M3 screws. I used 2 8 mm BHCS since that was what I had handy.
I printed in iSANGHU CF-ABS, although I'm fairly sure almost any filament would work. Since this was something that would live out where it could be seen, I wanted a CF filament with a matte surface to hide the layer lines as best as possible.
My only real gripe with the coasters is, I wish, instead of all listing 45 lbs, they used the right IWF color coding, i.e. red = 55 lbs, blue = 45 lbs, yellow = 35 lbs, green = 25 lbs, etc.
